  ISCAR Thread Milling

ISCAR's Thread Milling System enables production of precision threads on CNC milling machines and machining centers using helical interpolation programs.
Features and Advantages:
1. May be used for internal or external threads that are not located on
    the rotation axis of the workpiece.
2. Provides precision threading.
3. Avoids chip jamming - a common occurrence when tapping.
4. Eliminates the problem of removing broken taps from holes.
5. When threading large diameters, ISCAR's Thread Milling provides a
    cost advantage over tapping.
6. Eliminates the need for grinding.
7. A single insert may be used for many diameters with the same pitch,
    as well as for right and left threads.
8. Tapered threads do not require taper reaming.
