The new tangential milling system with LNKX butterfly-shaped inserts
ISCAR's tangential screw-clamped inserts are firmly supported on their cutter body. These rectangular, flat, negative rake inclination inserts absorb very high cutting forces. These new unique butterfly-shaped LNKX inserts combine the advantage of strong tangential system with positive axial cutting angles and optimal chip control.

Each LNKX insert offers four right- and four left-hand cutting edges. This design makes the insert more economically attractive. The inserts are peripherally ground for high accuracy, providing optimal conditions for heavy-duty applications. They render excellent surface quality, thus eliminating additional finishing operations.
