ISCAR is further expanding its line of ISO standard turning tools:

A. New rough turning tools and inserts have been added:
● 80° rhombic inserts in 16, 19 and 25 mm cutting edge sizes and    square inserts in 15, 19 and 25 mm cutting edge sizes. The new    inserts are available in single- and double-sided configurations.
   They are made from ISCAR’s most advanced SUMO TEC PVD and CVD    grades.
● Two geometries, CNMG 190612-MR and CNMM 190616-MH in IC807    grade, were designed especially for machining stainless steel and    high temperature alloys. These are initial items and there will be more    in the near future.
● Two RCMX 25 and 32 mm round inserts, used mainly for railway    wheel machining.

B. The HELITURNLD family has been expanded by adding new trigon    and DNMX inserts and a 16 mm CNMX insert.
   The new inserts have very positive radial, helical cutting edges and    positive rake angles - a combination which substantially reduces the    cutting forces.

   The CNMX and WNMX insert corners have a wiper configuration which    produces high surface finish even at high feed conditions, which in    many cases can eliminate a finishing cut. The corner angle is 88°,    which provides increased strength.
   HELITURNLD inserts were designed for heavy machining applications.    Their unique design ensures reliable, Fast Metal Removal. CNMX and    WNMX inserts require special tools with appropriate seats. DNMX    inserts can be mounted on standard tools.
