IMC's Global Policy Regarding REACH
Pursuant to the relevant provisions of the European Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 concerning Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), the IMC Group has been taking all necessary measures to secure compliance by its Members with the
pre-registration process as specified in the relevant provisions under the REACH Regulations.
Accordingly, the IMC Group has now completed the pre-registration stage, during which it properly submitted the pre-registration dossiers of some of its substances. Other materials, which are used by IMC and its Members, are exempted from registration. This assessment is based on the evaluation of a leading European consultancy company*. Having completed the Pre-Registration stage in such manner, allows all members of the IMC Group the continued use of all of its substances in the EU. In addition, measures have been initiated to facilitate the commencement of the actual registration process, as scheduled under the REACH Regulations.
*To accomplish this and other activities under the REACH Regulations,
the IMC Group is being assisted and advised by a leading European
consultancy company, who possess specific knowledge and
experience regarding compliance and guidance in connection with
the REACH Regulations.
