New 12.00-13.99 mm (.472”-.551”) Gundrills Carrying Inserts with 2 Cutting Edges

Highlights
ISCAR and UNITAC are expanding the lower diameter range of the GD-DH gundrill family by adding drills in the diameter range of 12.0 to 13.99 mm (.472”-.551”) carrying a new LOGT 060204R-DT insert featuring 2 chip splitting cutting edges.


GD-DH
Gundrills for machining centers and gundrill machines, carrying LOGT inserts that feature 2 chip splitting cutting edges, and a wiper for high hole surface quality and high feed.
The drills are now available in the diameter range of Ø12 - Ø13.99 mm (.472”-.551”) and in 15, 20 and 25 drilling length to diameter ratios.
Longer gundrills up to 2400 mm (95”) length can be supplied on request.
The new LOGT 060204R-DT IC908 insert features 2 chip splitting cutting edges, a positive rake chipbreaker, and a wiper for high hole surface quality.
The new insert is made from IC908, a versatile PVD coated grade.

GD-DH gundrills are in stock. Longer GD-DH gundrills can be supplied upon request from UNITAC. For European markets, these gundrills are also available from OUTILTEC.
