New TANGFACE TNF Inserts with an Effective GN Chip Breaker for Steel Machining
Highlights
ISCAR continues to expand the TANGFACE TNF line by adding 3 – 6 mm inserts with GN chipbreakers.
The inserts are designed for face grooving steels.
To further expand the variety of TNF inserts, ISCAR is adding a new GN chip breaker which provides excellent chip control.
The new chip breaker improves the chip breaking results of the existing inserts with “P” type chip breakers, and breaks chips in feeds as low as 0.06 mm/rev on carbon steels and 0.08 mm/rev on alloyed steels.
