LOGIQ4FEED, a family of small diameter fast feed milling tools, features narrow "bone shape" double-sided inserts with four cutting edges.
The family was originally designed for roughing operations, especially when machining deep cavities, mainly in the die and mold and aerospace industries, and then successfully expanded its application range to other industrial sectors.
The "bone-shape" inserts have 4 indexable cutting edges. Each edge comprises two edge sections: a major cutting edge and a minor cutting edge, which improves cutting action in ramp-down milling.
The inserts are available in size 04 with four types of cutting geometries for optimal machining of different materials depending on cutting conditions: FFX4 XNMU...T for steel, ferritic and martensitic stainless steel, cast iron and hardened steel. FFX4 XNMU...HP for austenitic stainless steel and high temperature alloys.
