MICRO3FEED is a family of indexable tools designed for fast feed milling including machining near square shoulders. The tools of the family, which carry hexagonal single-side inserts with 3 cutting edges, are probably the smallest screw clamping indexable tools for fast feed milling.
The insert cutting edge comprises a major cutting edge for fast feed machining and a minor cutting edge for ramp down milling.
Insert indexing is easily performed by use of a screw and a TORX key.
Compact fine pitch MICRO3FEED tools provide an attractive solution for manufacturers of small-size parts in a variety of industries.
